Munn leads Sierra Lions
Special for the Sierra Star

    BASS LAKE - New officers of the Sierra Lions Club were installed during informal ceremonies conducted at the home of a member last weekend.
    Bruce Munn of Coarsegold, who runs a vehicle-tow service and has been involved in Lions and other community activities for years, is the new president.
    He succeeds Peggy Potter, who will serve as secretary.
    Other officers:
    Dorothy Belcher, first vice president; Bob Ruch, second vice president; Don Kieffer, treasurer; Jack Gyer, tailtwister; James Belcher, Liontamer.
    Also, Stella Pizelo, Jane Gyer and Angelo Pizelo, two-year directors; Sam Taylor and Theresa Ruch, one-year directors.
    Officiating at the installation was Phil Robinson, zone chairman. He used a "Star Wars theme for the ceremony.
    Lions meet on the first and third Wednesdays at the Ol' Kettle restaurant in Oakhurst.
